2020 + 10.63 ROI% +1.63%

In 2021 we had the best year of the Nicspicks service so far in terms of big priced winners. I'm no longer advising specific staking plans but my personal outrights (all tips on list) showed a return of 56.75% POT recorded to 1/5th 10 places wherever possible. Many subscribers were quite a bit higher than that. 2021 saw a myriad of huge winners (see bottom of site) and we ran far above expectation. The P-value for outrights was 0.023 so despite the good side of variance that would suggest a strong skill showing too. The previous 18 months or so and through the covid period was the opposite so I suppose it's balancing out over the 3 years and falling in line with all the previous year's averages.

It has been a very interesting grind the last few years with competition across the PGA Tour and European golf tour getting so strong and deep. The betting edges and margins are definitely decreasing for all the very best golf betting experts and tipsters, and variance is even more prominent. That said, where there are swings there are often roundabouts, and I'm finding different areas of the golf betting markets are now offering what I feel are good value. I continue to share my findings basically for free because I flipping love it. Backing to lay big outsiders and In-play trading has been an important feature on Nicspicks and inplay is becoming a lot more popular with the boom in golf betting in the US and IMG's golf betting takeover leading to more and more markets. In play golf betting definitely gives us more room to find "ANGLES AND EDGES"

The tipping service doesn't run on a subscription basis. Nicspicks golf betting tips blog is one of the best and most transparent services out there and simply runs on a fair is fair model, where you buy Nic a few pints/beers as a thank you for winning golf tips, or the general expert golf advice he shares, which is all basically free. You will then be added to the members mailing list. You would also be well advised to follow on twitter @nicspicks to make sure you don't miss out on any of the free nuggets of info, or subsidiary market tips, including first (1st) round leader tips and best top 10 or top 20 golf tips for the week.

What is expected Strokes Gained Course Fit ?

Bryan pioneered the concept of Expected Strokes Gained Course Fit (xSGF) in golf betting. xSGF can be predicted using my model below. For prospective golf betting tips it projects ahead of time how many shots a player is expected to pick up per round on average on a particular golf course. It's weighed against a neutral golf course of the same rating.

Golf Betting Tips Model

Input up to date player and course data (from the upcoming course fit manual 2024) into this interactive golf betting model. My course fit profiling model for golf betting tips uses highly evolved golf nuance and betting intuition, precise parameters and inputs based on Bayesian analysis, plus years of empirical evidence through observing, betting and documenting golf and stats.

What is Progressive Form in Golf Betting?

Progressive form in golf betting differs from current form in that players are showing a trend in the right direction in their recent scoring. Trending form has a high predictive value in golf betting and can also catch players under the radar at an inflated price vs their true betting odds.
