Arnold Palmer Invitational Betting Tips From Bay Hill

We are in Florida this week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational from Bay Hill - an excellent venue. The field is weaker than I expected it to be to be fair and we could see an off the radar winner. My odds chart with rankings, ratings (estimated fair odds) and some course fit numbers for the Arnold Palmer Invitational is below..

If you haven't heard yet, I've been finally working on putting my book on golf betting together after 10 years of Nicspicks, getting stuck in over the last year or so. I've really been enjoying writing it and I'm covering all areas of the game and the golf betting markets. I hope to have it ready to order by April so if interested keep an eye out.

As always you can get my weekly PGA and European Tour selections direct by email through the members mailing list - click here. It doesn't take a lot to join up.

What is expected Strokes Gained Course Fit ?

Bryan pioneered the concept of Expected Strokes Gained Course Fit (xSGF) in golf betting. xSGF can be predicted using my model below. For prospective golf betting tips it projects ahead of time how many shots a player is expected to pick up per round on average on a particular golf course. It's weighed against a neutral golf course of the same rating.

What is Progressive Form in Golf Betting?

Progressive form in golf betting differs from current form in that players are showing a trend in the right direction in their recent scoring. Trending form has a high predictive value in golf betting and can also catch players under the radar at an inflated price vs their true betting odds.
