Players Championship Trading column

The trading column went well last week with Danny Lee hitting a low of 11.00 from 440.0 pre event and Sam Burns (Grrrrr) trading at a low of 23.00 from a pre event 550.0, despite absolutely throwing away a 125/1 1st round leader bink for us. There were plenty of opportunities to trade low between 18 and 54 holes. Danny lee was in the lead before his last swing on day 3.

Hoping for more of the same at the Players with a couple of rank outsiders and a few guys with much more of a chance. Shane Lowry, Sergio Garcia, and Abraham ancer feature this week (see below) at an avg. of around 100.0 and I've added a few fliers at an average of around 400.0: Laird, Macenzie Hughes, Tom Hoge, and Matt Wallace 350.0 - who I quite like :

As you can see, This week I've split some stakes up between these 7 guys and the plan is to reassess the situation after 36 holes unless someone goes low on day 1 and I can cover some liabilities

What is expected Strokes Gained Course Fit ?

Bryan pioneered the concept of Expected Strokes Gained Course Fit (xSGF) in golf betting. xSGF can be predicted using my model below. For prospective golf betting tips it projects ahead of time how many shots a player is expected to pick up per round on average on a particular golf course. It's weighed against a neutral golf course of the same rating.

Golf Betting Tips Model

Input up to date player and course data (from the upcoming course fit manual 2024) into this interactive golf betting model. My course fit profiling model for golf betting tips uses highly evolved golf nuance and betting intuition, precise parameters and inputs based on Bayesian analysis, plus years of empirical evidence through observing, betting and documenting golf and stats.

What is Progressive Form in Golf Betting?

Progressive form in golf betting differs from current form in that players are showing a trend in the right direction in their recent scoring. Trending form has a high predictive value in golf betting and can also catch players under the radar at an inflated price vs their true betting odds.
