Racing Up The Table There may be a massive table topping clash in this weekend's Spanish football when Real Madrid head to in form Valencia without their 2 big superstars but the value this weekend in La liga could be with little Racing Santander, fresh off the back of a demolition of Espanyol and a (unkown to the bookmakers) rising star named Canales on the goal trail. Racing are home to goal shy Xerez and look good price picks to grab another 3 points @ 3/4 while Canales can be had @ 4/1 anytime scorer or 75/1 for a brace on PaddyPower!(another Michael Owen perhaps?). Valencia will have no better chance of beating the new Madrid than this weekend with Ronaldo and Kaka both being out but I was hoping for a better price on the home win, although a score/win double with Villa may be on the cards. Watch out for another rising star as Athletic travel to Zaragoza. Yet to turn 17, Munain is tipped to be another Torres and could be value to get on the sheet. In the English Premiership, top of the billing is a now full strength Liverpool against an understrength Arsenal and I'd expect the reds, although in poor form, to be a decent pick to take all 3 points, with Torres on the scoresheet. Villa travel to an injury hit UTD and could be the value bet of the premiership this week to take that down with a (+1) handicap ...
