Two players I like the look of for trading (back to lay on Betfair) purposes are Brice Garnett 100.00 and Harris English 50.00. English is a former winner at Mayakoba and has returned to form with a bang at the back end of 2019 amassing finishes of 3rd, 6th and 4th in four events. Brice Garnett is a course specialist with a course history formline of 6-7-25-5 in his last 4 starts at Mayakoba. Both feature heavily in par 4 performance with English ranked 3rd this season, whilst Garnett was 10th overall in the ranking for that stat in 2019 on the PGA Tour ... Learn more on Betfair trading

Russell Knox 33/1 EW almost seems like a no-brainer at the price for the Mayakoba Golf Classic tips portfolio. Knox has returned to form in recent weeks with progressive T48, T28 and T11 finishes. He has the current and course form concoction having finished 2-3-9 here in his last 3 visits. In fact that 2nd place finish in 2015 was a playoff loss and he came back the next season and was priced around the 12/1 mark with the Sportsbooks at El Camaleon. This is the perfect test for the Scot's game, who excels in windy conditions.

Angles and Edges: a journey through the evolution of golf betting and the markets
Bryan Nicholson is the pioneer of the progressive form and course fit ratings for golf betting, with the associated progressive form model and course fit profiling model. Bryan is the author of the annual course fit profiling manual and #1 golf betting book Angles & Edges.

What is expected Strokes Gained Course Fit ?

Bryan pioneered the concept of Expected Strokes Gained Course Fit (xSGF) in golf betting. xSGF can be predicted using my model below. For prospective golf betting tips it projects ahead of time how many shots a player is expected to pick up per round on average on a particular golf course. It's weighed against a neutral golf course of the same rating.

Golf Betting Tips Model

Input up to date player and course data (from the upcoming course fit manual 2024) into this interactive golf betting model. My course fit profiling model for golf betting tips uses highly evolved golf nuance and betting intuition, precise parameters and inputs based on Bayesian analysis, plus years of empirical evidence through observing, betting and documenting golf and stats.

What is Progressive Form in Golf Betting?

Progressive form in golf betting differs from current form in that players are showing a trend in the right direction in their recent scoring. Trending form has a high predictive value in golf betting and can also catch players under the radar at an inflated price vs their true betting odds.
