4. Bubba Watson 25/1

6. Jason Kokrak 28/1
7. Mailing list play 28/1
8. Mailing list play 33/1
9. Joel Dahmen 33/1
10. Kevin Na 33/1

The course: Old White TPC, par 70, 7,292 yards

Key Features: 2,000 feet above sea level. Resort Course pretty forgiving from the tee, although treelined, where many players are on 'vacation'. Course experience an advantage. Ugly shaped bearded bunkers.

Premium on putting from 10-25 feet, Greens in reg, distance control from approaches / approach prox - the altitude here makes approaches tricky and course exp. is an advantage. total birdies. Par 4 performance.

Player quotes:

"I know we're at altitude but I just couldn't get the ball to go pin high, it was going forever" - Tiger

"I've posed over a lot of iron shots and they end up not just a yard or 2 from where i figure but 10 or 12 yards off" - Phil

Best value bet: Joel Dahmen 85.00 is one of the most improved players on tour and I'm surprised to see him all but overlooked this week, especially given he was t5 here last year with 4x rounds in the sixties. He followed that with a runner up at the TPC Deere run where approach proximity is also key. Dahmen almost won at Quail Hollow this year in a stellar field and also recorded strong finishes at the likes of Torrey and Sawgrass. He ranks 6th in total birdies.

What is expected Strokes Gained Course Fit ?

Bryan pioneered the concept of Expected Strokes Gained Course Fit (xSGF) in golf betting. xSGF can be predicted using my model below. For prospective golf betting tips it projects ahead of time how many shots a player is expected to pick up per round on average on a particular golf course. It's weighed against a neutral golf course of the same rating.

Golf Betting Tips Model

Input up to date player and course data (from the upcoming course fit manual 2024) into this interactive golf betting model. My course fit profiling model for golf betting tips uses highly evolved golf nuance and betting intuition, precise parameters and inputs based on Bayesian analysis, plus years of empirical evidence through observing, betting and documenting golf and stats.

What is Progressive Form in Golf Betting?

Progressive form in golf betting differs from current form in that players are showing a trend in the right direction in their recent scoring. Trending form has a high predictive value in golf betting and can also catch players under the radar at an inflated price vs their true betting odds.
