2014 European Tour South African Golf Swing

I'm now winding down until the new year so while there won't be any previews on the blog, I'll still be posting my picks to the 2014 Spreadsheet as well as my Twitter: @Nicspicks which can also be seen in right blog sidebar ---->

Bit of a 2013 wrap up now and a dry end to another great season was at least capped by a couple of places for Joost Luiten (66) in Dubai and Brian Stuard (100) at Mayakoba. This means we end the 2013 season with a profit of +188.65pts with a ROI of 24.32% which on the whole, is pretty good. You can see a full breakdown of all tips and results here.

Full previews of all events on the South African swing will also be available on my Unibet golf column on Wednesdays. I hope you profited throughout the year on the whole. Have a good holiday period and see you back in January. Fell free to comment below or on Twitter with feedback from 2013 or ideas for 2014 etc.

Cheers, Bryan

What is expected Strokes Gained Course Fit ?

Bryan pioneered the concept of Expected Strokes Gained Course Fit (xSGF) in golf betting. xSGF can be predicted using my model below. For prospective golf betting tips it projects ahead of time how many shots a player is expected to pick up per round on average on a particular golf course. It's weighed against a neutral golf course of the same rating.

Golf Betting Tips Model

Input up to date player and course data (from the upcoming course fit manual 2024) into this interactive golf betting model. My course fit profiling model for golf betting tips uses highly evolved golf nuance and betting intuition, precise parameters and inputs based on Bayesian analysis, plus years of empirical evidence through observing, betting and documenting golf and stats.

What is Progressive Form in Golf Betting?

Progressive form in golf betting differs from current form in that players are showing a trend in the right direction in their recent scoring. Trending form has a high predictive value in golf betting and can also catch players under the radar at an inflated price vs their true betting odds.
