Liverpool v Man City Tips - Trouble From Tevez?

Liverpool host Man City in the big Sunday Premier League clash where Brendan Rodger's side look to bounce back from opening day defeat while Mancini's Man City look to kick on from a slightly fortunate three points on the opening day

Man City have only picked up one point in their last two trips in the Premier League to Anfield. Andy Carroll caused them serious problems in one of his first appearances for the Reds and it remains to be seen if he will be thrust back into action again. If he's left on the bench, I think Man city will have enough to cope with Liverpool threats from elsewhere and find it hard to see Liverpool recording a victory despite a confidence boosting 1-0 win in the Europa League midweek, albeit against Hearts.

Liverpool conceded three goals v WBA last Saturday and look shaky in defence. With Man City's potency on the counter, this may spell trouble for the Reds, especially in the shape of a fit and Hungry again Carlos Tevez. Aguero will miss out but look for Tevez to get on the end of defence splitting passes from the likes of Silva and Nasri playing in the hole. Tevez can be backed at a great value 4/1 with Betfred to score in a Man City victory or best priced 10/1 to bag two or more goals. The biggest threat for Liverpool may come from set pieces and watch out for Man City target Daniel Agger, a real danger from the back who is priced at 12/1 to net for the Reds (Update: Agger suspended).

Top Tip: Man City Draw no bet (A/H 0) v Liverpool 7/9 with Pinnacle
Best value tip: Tevez to score anytime v Liverpool @ 9/4 (Coral)

What is expected Strokes Gained Course Fit ?

Bryan pioneered the concept of Expected Strokes Gained Course Fit (xSGF) in golf betting. xSGF can be predicted using my model below. For prospective golf betting tips it projects ahead of time how many shots a player is expected to pick up per round on average on a particular golf course. It's weighed against a neutral golf course of the same rating.

What is Progressive Form in Golf Betting?

Progressive form in golf betting differs from current form in that players are showing a trend in the right direction in their recent scoring. Trending form has a high predictive value in golf betting and can also catch players under the radar at an inflated price vs their true betting odds.
