Liverpool v Arsenal Tips - Raheem a Sterling Punt
Liverpool take on Arsenal this Sunday lunchtime in what's already a key game in terms of shaping the two team's respective seasons. Liverpool dominated Man City for large parts last week but due to a couple of defensive lapses, only managed to secure a solitary point. Arsenal without RVP have failed to net in two games and both will be looking for all three points to kick start their campaigns
During the summer I was tweeting that I'd like to see Brendan Rogers give young Raheem Sterling some game time for Liverpool and it seems he has no qualms about doing just that, having thrust Sterling in at the deep end last week vs the champions. Sterling for me was the best Liverpool player in that game and having being left out from the start midweek v Hearts, I expect him to retain his PL place v Arsenal.
Arsenal like their full backs to get forward and are often left open at the back, especially down the flanks and Sterling can benefit from this and may be the best attacking outlet for Liverpool. Boylesports are offering a new market this season for 'anytime assists' and Sterling looks a fantastic value tip at 7/1 to assist any goal for Liverpool. Taking all this into account and bearing in mind that Downing was used at left back midweek, the home corner markets are also worth considering in the Liverpool v Arsenal game. William Hill are current best industry price 1/1 on over 6 Liverpool corners while the -1 corner handicap on Liverpool is available at 5/6 with SJ.

Despite Arsenal's lack of goals thus far in the Premier League, they will be full of attacking intent v Liverpool and I'm expecting goals in this game. Both teams are weak defensively and will look to play passing, forward thinking football. Arsenal will likely line up with the guile of Cazorla in behind Giroud, with the pacey Gervinho and Podolski on the flanks while I can see Luis Suarez causing all sorts of problems for the Arsenal defence with the space he is likely to be given. Suarez demonstrated what he can do when teams come forward against Liverpool with his goal v Hearts midweek while running from halfway with Hearts pushing forward. Over 2.5 goals is best priced at 1/1 with Pinnacle Sports and looks the top tip here. Memories of the 4-4 at Anfield a few seasons back.
