WGC Accenture World Matchplay Picks:
Pick 1: Paul Casey E/W @ 14/1 (General) Played some superb golf here last year up until the final and warmed up nicely last week. On paper, he has the easiest route to the WGC Accenture Matchplay final.
Pick 2: Rory McIlroy E/W @ 16/1 (General) On paper his route to the Accenture Matchplay finl looks not to have too many stumbling blocks and will have the energy to go the full distance if need be....
Pick 3: Robert Karlsson E/W to win Gary Player bracket @ 14/1 (Bet365) Could be the underdog of the whole WGC Accenture World Matchplay tournament this week. Got some practice in in the States last week and known for being a fantastic desert golf player. Showed us with a 50/1 winner late last year that he isn't afraid of the matchplay situation when he took care of Ian Poulter.
Pick 4: Dutch Luke Donald (8/1) and Ryo Ishikawa (35/1) to win the Bobby Jones bracket @ 7.2 (best prices) 2 that will meet in the 3rd round of the Accenture World Matchplay if both get that far but again a favourable looking side of the draw and bracket.
Pick 5: Louis Oosthuizen E/W to win Ben Hogan bracket @ 17/1 (Boyle) Could come in under the radar in this tournament. Again, had a warm up in the States last week and has shown his mental toughness by winning the British Open. Great driver of the golf ball which will suit the conditions and the draw looks good for him.
