FOOTBALL BETTING: SUNDERLAND V TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR BETTING TIPS
SUNDERLAND V TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR Betting Tips: (Premier League apr 3):
Sunderland v Spurs is an intriguing premier league fixture this weekend. Jermaine Defoe has boosted the Tottenham faithful by declaring himself fit and this would go some way towards justifying a betting price of 14/5 on a Sunderland win but IMO, it's still far too big for a steadily improving Sunderland side(if you exclude the trip to Anfield last week)....
The interesting thing about the Sunderland v Spurs game though is the amount of former Tottenham players that will potentially line up for the home side. Andy Reid is probably out but the likes of Steed Malbranque, Frazier Campbell and Darren Bent all felt a little hard done by at Spurs and especially Darrent Bent will be eager to prove to Harry Redknapp that he was wrong about him. This is the factor that IMO makes the 14/5 a fantastic value betting price and you can get 7/4 on the Betting Exchanges for the DNB. Big anytime goal scorer prices on kenwyne Jones (13/5 bet365) and Frazier Campbell (10/3 william hill) but it's Darrent Bent's agenda and current form that make him the 1 to watch for Sunderland.
£20 fixed odds and up to £200 free spread bets at Extrabet
Nic's Advised Value Bets:
Pick 1: 2.5pts Sunderland win (Draw no Bet) @ 7/4 (Exchanges)
Pick 2: 1.75pts Darren Bent anytime scorer @ 2/1 (Coral) - 50%, 0.75pts Darren Bent to score a brace @ 13/1 (paddypower)
