La Liga / FA Cup Picks/Bundesliga Feb 13-14

I'm not a big fan of FA Cup weeks, not least because the English Premier League fixture list comes to a standstill but as usual the FA cup doesn't throw up much in terms of value betting. Feisty encounter down on the South Coast with Pompey squaring up against rivals Southampton but I can't go near that match. There is 1 FA cup fixture that catches the eye and that's Reading vs WBA where there could be goals on the cards. If you're looking for upsets, there are plenty of potential banana skins in the offing but pricing looks to be pretty accurate so I'll leave it alone for the most part. Villa at 5/6 do look worth a bet though away to Crystal Palace. In La Liga, the fixture list looks pretty tight this weekend as well albeit the standout fixture - Atletico vs Barca, promises goals as it does every year but the bookmaker's prices would reflect this so again, I'll leave the goal index betting alone in that 1. A score/away win double with Ibra though looks a good value betting opportunity. Gijon at home to Valencia on Saturday night looks to be the value bet of the La Liga fixture weekend @ evens on the Exchanges on the over 2.5 goals betting. In the Bundesliga, flying Leverkusen(Tipped antepost as the biggest rivals to Bayern Munich this year) take on a woefully all over the place Wolfsburg where stanjames offer a great value corner bet @ 11/8 over 10.5 and surely Kiessling will get on the scoresheet...... stay tuned for weekend FA cup betting/ free soccer picks......
