Europa League Antepost Betting
As we all know this competition can be a bit of a lottery with supposed weak teams often going all the way to the final. this year as every year, I'll be picking a few teams E/W that I know are teams with genuine quality/great cup set up with odds way over what they should be and probably looking to trade out later in the competition.
This year 3 teams fit the bill...
Free VALUE Europa League picks:
-1pt E/W FC Twente @ 66/1 - Steve McLaren has moulded a very competent unit. Now one of the eredivise's top teams, they set up perfectly for the Europa league as a solid defensive unit with the threat of the likes of NKufo on the break. They remind me a bit like the Boro team that reached the final under McLaren.
Book:
-1pt E/W Benfica @ 33/1 - Another team that is being built up into what could become a force. With solid foundations compounded with the likes of Saviola, Gomes and Aimar up top, they are serious dark horses at a big price.
Book:
-1pt E/W Galatasary @ 40/1 - On paper look a fantastic team in terms of going forward under new manager Frank Rijkaard. Baros, Kewell, Arda Turan, with new signing's Elano and Abu Keita. Suspect at the back of course but could easily go a long way, especially with trips to turkey being so daunting for the opposition.
Book:
E/W places 1-2, 1/2 odds
